Title: Great!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and saw the pirate hat. I wasn't expecting much for $2.99, but it's really an awesome pirate hat! Definitely worth purchasing. It fits both my 4 and 2 year olds perfectly.

Title: great purchase

I bought these hats for my sons birthday party. They were very reasonably priced (much cheaper than anything at Party City) and fit a wide variety of head sizes. We had 3 to 8 year olds at are party. The pirate sticker came off after a while, but the hat as retained its shape after a lot of play and being smashed into the dress up bin.

the quality of this hat is great and it holds up well. The only problem I had with it was the size, it was too small for my 4yr. It would fit an infant/toddler but not a preschooler.

I ordered these hats for my sons 4th birthday party. They were very cute but very small for four and five year old kids. They were able to wear them, but they didn't stay on the best because they were so small. Other than that, the quality is good.

make sure you order the ADULT pirate hats for your kids - the kid hats didn't fit my five year old! So we had to reorder and get the adult hats - which fit my 5 and 2 year old, but do not fit me. they are well made though and really cute.

i purchsed 21 hats for my son's pirate birthday party and was very disappointed when they arrived and he tried it on, it was way toooo little. it fit my 2 year old perfect! i searched for other around town and could not find. . .so i ended up sewing elastic on the hats until wee hours of the morning so that the hats would just stay on the childrens heads!

The quality is great, but the size... not so much! I bought these to give as favors for our 6 year old's upcoming party for kids ranging from 5-12 years old, and they are so small that they barely fit on his head (and he has a TINY head for his age). They just say "Child's" for the size, but it is definitely for toddler kids size, not elementary school kids size.

The hats were more sturdy than I had expected and was very thrilled with the quality especially for the price. Not good however for older kids as they don't necessarily fit on their heads.

Some have commented on the size of the hats. They don't fit adults but as far as the kids are concerned, they fit fine. Both the 3 and 7 year-olds had no problem. Actually the 3 year-old's head is a bit larger than the older one's but we had no problem.
