Bake the cookies Cinderelli!
- Sprinkles (multiple colors)
- Frosting (Pink, Blue, White)
- Sugar cookies
Make a couple of batches of sugar cookies. Use cookie cutters to cut them into theme shapes (Glass slippers, Pumpkins, Crowns, Ball gowns etc.) Have the girls frost and decorate with whichever sprinkles they’d like! (If the girls are too young to frost their own cookies, have adult helpers frost the cookies for them. If the girls are old enough, let them use piping tools to get really creative with the frosting!)
Sweep the Kitchen Cinderelli!
Have the girls separate into 2 teams. Give each team a broom and a balloon. When you yell “Sweep the kitchen Cindarelli”, have the first child on each team sweep the balloon across the room (to some kind of marker like a cone or chair) and sweep it back, as soon as they get back, they give the broom and balloon to the next child in line and they repeat the process. The first team to have all the children sweep wins.
The fairy godmother has arrived and now it’s time for the ball! Help transform your little party guests into royalty!
(These are basic supplies needed. You can get as big with it as you want by adding princess costumes, gloves, boas and whatever your little princesses desire)
Have the “Fairy godmother” station set up in one of the rooms. When it’s time to transform for the ball put on the Cinderella soundtrack and let the girls get dressed up for the ball!
The Royal Ball!
- CD player/stereo
- "Red carpet"
- Christmas lights
- Paper plates
- Plastic cups
Let the girls dance around to their favorite tunes and greet each other as “princess _______.” Set up a snack and punch table just like a real dance! Set up a “red carpet” lined with Christmas lights and let the girls walk down it as they enter the “ball room”! (Remember to take plenty of pictures). !
Fairy Godmother wands!
- Rice Crispie treats
- Colored sugar
- Large pretzel rods
Use a star shaped cookie cutter to make your rice crispie treats into stars. (Make sure they are thick enough to stick a large pretzel rod into) Stick the pretzel rods into the side of the star (in between points) so they look like wands. Sprinkle the colored sugar on the rice crispie treats for a little extra pizzazz!
Veggie dip in a Pumpkin Bowl!
- Veggie dip (Dill or whichever is the guest of honor’s favorite)
- Red Bell Pepper
- Yellow Bell Pepper
Serve a colorful vegetable platter for your little princesses! Hollow out and clean a small pumpkin, fill with the dip of the guest of honors choice and place in the center of the platter so the veggies can be dipped!)
Princess Style Cookie Cutter Sandwiches!
- Peanut butter
A fun twist on the normal finger sandwich! Cut sandwiches of your (or the guest of honors) choice into glass slipper, star and heart shapes!
Estimated Total Time: 4 hours and 30 minutes
- 1-½ Package of yellow cake mix
- 2-(16 ounce) Packages of vanilla frosting
Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Grease (or spray with cooking spray) a 3 quart oven proof mixing bowl. Prepare cake as directed on the package. Pour your batter into the prepared bowl and cook until your cake tester comes out clean (about 60mins). When cake is done, flip over so the large part is facing down. Let cool for 3 hrs. After cake is cool, insert your Cinderella molded candle in the center and decorate with light blue butter cream frosting to emulate Cinderella’s dress. Go as elaborate with piping and décor as you’d like!
